No, it will not run traditional Microsoft Office like you would find on your desktop, however, because SkyDrive is web based, the Chromebook should be able to run Office Web Apps. Also, there's Google Drive if you do not have a Windows Live ID.

No - it runs ChromeOS and only supports Google's web apps - Microsoft Office will not run (and in fact there's no way to install it and no drive to install it on!). You can use Google Documents (their online word processor) to create documents that are compatible with Word.

The 3G version of this device has the added advantage of being able to access the internet on the move. For pricing we would suggest contacting your nearest stockist.

Google Docs is a free service offered by Google and is indeed compatible with the Samsung Chromebook. It is available for install via the Chrome Store. Additional charges may be applicable for additional storage space.

I am sorry to hear that you are having problems connecting up your printer to this unit. Compatible printers can be connected by using Google Cloud Print. Please go to Settings > Show advanced settings > Google Cloud Print and follow the onscreen instructions. Where can I purchase a UK charger for this?

I have searched around, and have only found US versions, with the 2pin adapters. The stock transformer has a "clover" style port instead. The others I have found have a charger too big for the port on my Chromebook.

Can one turn the search-key off?

The search key - the one next to the "a" key, with a magnifying glass on it - is VERY irritating; it is placed where the shift key usually is on normal keyboards. As a "touch-typer", this means that whenever I want to capitalise I, inadvertantly, press this search key and another tab opens. VERY irritating. Can one change this?
