Is there an adjustable wall mount for this TV?

I currently have a Samsung hanging on what I can only describe as a zig zag wall mount stand. I can move the TV around to change angle and have it floating in the corner. Does one exist for this TV?

The only wall mount we can recommend to you is a Samsung mini wall mount, model number WMN350, you can view this wall mount on the following link:

There may be alternative, third party retailers who may offer wall mounts suitable for your needs, however we cannot comment nor give advice regarding this.

Why is my 3D TV flickering?

I've bought Samsung 3D TV UE55F8000 3 months ago. Suddenly it has started flickering in a 3D mode. It looks like a line about 8 inch in a middle of the tv, which is flickering like a strobe light. Only in the 3D mode. And i can see flickering with or without 3D glasses. I've tried reseting picture settings, even tried reseting the TV completely, changing the batteries in the 3D glasses. Nothing helps. What could be the problem?

Hi Harish,

There are a few differences between these two TV’s, the main being that the F8000 has a camera built in whereas the D8000 does not. This means the F8000 includes features such as motion control and face recognition.

Please note the 55” D8000 TV is no longer available for purchase from the Samsung website.

A USB memory pen will not be able to save the TV programme in the correct format.

In order to save it correctly we recommend using a External Hard Drive.

Why does the 'On TV' function not work, and why is it 'grayed out' in the menu?

I have BT Vision connected via HDMI, and an antenna connection too. While I can watch TV through Freeview, I have heard about the TV's ability to recommend TV shows. However, the 'On TV' function doesn't appear on my Smart Hub menu, and when I go to the 'Smart Hub' section of the Menu, it is grayed out.

Any thoughts on how to get it working?

Question

On screen error message when using external speak (Sonos Playbar)

I have a 55F8000, a Sky+ digital box and a Sonos Playbar.

I connect the TV optical out to the playbar, choose external speaker on the TV and use my SKY+ remote to operate the TV, Sky+ box and Sonos Playbar.

When I change the volume I get the error message "Your TV is set to use external speakers. Adjust the volume on the connected speakers directly" This has to be acknowledged with the Samsung supplied remote to remove it from the screen. This error message appears EVERY time you press up or down on the volumen control.

I read on another post that I needed to update my TV software. I have done that.

Previously I had exactly the same setup but the TV was a Samsung 40C5800 and there was NO error message so I am putting this down to being some issue with the TV? Sonos have confirmed that this is not an error with their Playbar.

Can you please offer some guidance as to how to remove this problem?

Hi

Pressing TV and Select on your Sky remote will remove this message. I would suggest using your TV speakers in conjunction to your soundbar to avoid this.
