0060 didn't work for me; 1340 was the code I needed - ordinary Sky handset (blue version, not Sky+) with revision 9 firmware.

Although it is possible you can use 3rd party glasses, I'd recommend using one of Samsung's own models (SSG-2100AB, SSG-2200AR, SSG-3100GB, SSG-3300GR).

Can you tell me a little more about voice control.

Hi Alan.

The voice feature on the ES7000 and ES8000 are the same. Once the TV has been powered on, it can be controlled simply by saying "Hi TV". You are then able to select channels, adjust volume and open and close various features within the TV. Not all features of the TV can be fully controlled by voice, some like the web browser will require hand gestures to navigate. We would suggest that you visit your nearest retailer to demonstrate its features.in full, it should make watching TV alot easier for your son.

That would probably depend on what you're using the HDMI ports for. For example I use 3: TV tuner, Blu-ray, and Xbox360. I have managed to avoid some cables because I have a digital audio cable to my surround sound system from the TV.

Changing the built in camera's "view"

I just purchased the UE55E800, and I'm incredibly impressed by it. However, the camera is pointing over the seating, and so therefore if using skype, for example, you must stand to be seen. I've looked for the setting to make the camera point lower (something demonstrated in store at one point), but I can't seem to find the setting anywhere.

Yes you can connect the tv via a standard RJ45 cable, you do not need to only use WiFi.

Has the remote control been changed the one I've seen is a all black one yet when I went in to currys I saw it with the es8000 55 as a silver and black one looked much nicer and buttons were surface mounted I've not talking about the interactive one

You get 2 remotes, the silver and black one is for using interactive stuff/or the channel and volume and is also a mic.

Unfortunately this model is unable to support this function on the other hand you are able to control the TV through voice activation by telling the TV what channel to go to and to select the volume.

Hey, the ES8000 will be released only in 40", 46", 55" & 65" this year. In the Plasma range it will be There are no plans to introduce a 60" version at this time.

Unfortunately you are not able to access this form the smart hub but it is possible to control other samsung products using Anynet, Also non samsung products can be utilised by using a IR blaster.

If the camera function is prompting for a firmware update, you just need to update the TV software as the camera is built into your TV. To update by Online, enter MENU - SUPPORT - SOFTWARE UPGRADE - BY ONLINE, or visit the link and check under the FIRMWARE tab for the ugprade file, if you would prefer to upgrade by USB; an upgrade guide is also available at this link: http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/m...
