There has been no confirmed dates yet as to when BBC iplayer will be made available on our new E series range.

Makes sure you don't have any strong lights behind you, Go into the menu and when you get motion control up press right to calibrate the motion control, this will test the background light and then you must get in front of the eye. after you have completed the setup hold you flat palm up to the tv and wave left to right two times and hold you hand steady in the middle and wait for 2 to 3 seconds, when you get the volume and channel move your hand to the volume up/down and clench fist to go up down.

Yes, there is a PVR function on this TV if you connect a USB HDD. Please consult your used manual for the needed specifications for a HDD.

I would advise you to use a USB 2 HDD with at lease 5400rpm and non raid, partitioned in FAT32 or NTSC.
