Hi, Is your Tv firmware up to date? You can do this by; Pressing Menu> Support> Software Update> Update now. You will then need to re-tune your channels. Hope this helps.

Question

Should a 2tb external HDD work with this tv?

Hi. I used to connect a 320gb external HDD to this tv and it worked fine for watching movies. I have now connected it to a 2tb external HDD and tv freezes all the time and sometimes crashes completely (switches off by itself with a very loud bang in the speakers). The HDD works fine on other devices. Why is my tv crashing?

Question

Why do I need a set top box to get any channels?

I live in the FK2 area in Scotland. I use an aerial not cable. The set never showed any channels and would not tune until I added a set top box. Exactly what tuners are fitted to this set? I cannot send it back to the retailer as it was Comet.

Hi,

As your model of TV is not a Smart TV, you will not be able to use the internet connection for features such as these. The connection will enable you to update your TV via online, when a software update is available.

Can't turn on subtitles

I'd like to ask about subtitles settings. Subtitles in menu are disabled and I can't turn it on or change settings. For eg.I want to play movie from usb_disk and subtitles are not visible in directory too.

I just bought a EU40EH5005K that comes with Network port (DLNA) but I can not make it to work with my PC.
I have installed Samsung Allshare and Samsung PC share manger. Softwares don't see my TV at all.

Question

How do i get the number pad to not switch to analog channels?

When i use the numbers on my remote, it switched to analog channels instead of staying on 'TV-mode'. This is very annoying and it would be great if that could be changed somehow?
Also, why are my channels scattered over the numbers for TV? I have channels on 1, 2, 3, 7, 10 etc. instead of 123456789.

There may be an issue with your antenna and digital signal. I would suggest trying a signal booster and rescanning for channels.

This is called audio description and can be turned off by pressing the subtitles button on your remote and then enter. Scroll down to AD and press enter to turn it off.
