Hi A. AVILA,

Although Samsung TV's are fitted with Multistandard Tuners we cannot guarrantee compatibility. We would always recommend purchasing the set in the country of destination to avoid disappointment.

Question

Why has this set been advertised as having all catch-up services when ITV and Demand5 are missing?

I bought this TV specifically because it was described as 'exclusively' having all the catch-up services available via the Smart TV function, but it doesn't. It is missing ITV and Demand5 and there is no indication as to when these will be available. I feel like I've been deliberately misled.

I have sky freeview via satellite. This picks up more channels than digital terrestrial. Thank you.

Hi Ben,

The Sky can indeed be used as your main source for your TV. As for the smart features of your TV. The TV will need to remain connected to the internet for these to work.

Thanks.

Question

Input devices?

An ill-informed shop sold this TV to me with a Samsung Wireless Keyboard. It turns out that the keyboard is not compatible. I know that I can use the remote to use a 'virtual / onscreen keyboard' but considering this is utterly impractical for typing #which is essential for most web and app uses#, can you suggest an alternative device for typing please?

Hi Jody,

The scart port is inbound only and the only way to use headphones without muting the TV speakers is buy using an optical to analogue audio converter. Samsung do not produce these so I cannot recommend any particular brand.
