Where have the on demand players gone?

The smart hub on my UE32ES5500K LED TV seems to have lost all the on demand player apps - how can I get them back?

Hi.

Have you checked that the latest Software Update is installed on to your TV? You can check this by going to Menu > Support > Software Update.
The software update menu lets you upgrade your TV’s software to the latest version. If the latest version is already installed, please reset your Smart Hub.

To reset the Smart hub, please follow the instructions on page 340 onwards of the user manual provided in the link below.

Tv remote stopped working, replaced batteries and not worked. Replaced controller for like for like and not worked but different controller works?

My tv remote has stopped working, I have changed the batteries and still it doesnt work. I have a different samsung tv remote and this works. I have ordered a replacement aa5900582a and this doesnt work. What else could it be but 2 faulty controllers

Hi.

Below i have provided a link to the device instruction manual. As per the instructions this model supports ARC through HDMi 2.

Can I connect my pc to this tv

There is no pc in D sub socket on this tv. i wanted to be able to run my PC through it. Will i be able to do this with the built in Wifi or some other way?

Hi Graham,

The only way to connect your PC to your TV is via a HDMI lead.

You will have to connect this to HDMI (DVI) input on your TV.

I'm looking at buying an SSD instead of a USB drive as they have more memory. Is it possible to use an SSD to record TV on this model?

You cannot use an SSD for this TV. You must use a HDD as specified in the user guide.

This TV does not support any Samsung Keyboards but you may be able to use a 3rd party HID compliant USB keyboard. We cannot guarantee which will work.

Hi David,

The new smart hub is only available on the 2013 F series TVs and the ES7000 and ES8000 with an evolution kit attached as the new feature are hardware dependant.

The TV can only record onto a supported external USB device from its own in-built tuner. You cannot record from a feed to the TV from a set-top box. For further assistance in determining a USB storage device that is compatible with your TV, please contact our AV team on 0330 726 7864, press option 1 then option 4.

Hi Jobar,

To pick up the analogue channels assuming they are tuned in press the number one on your remote. When your on digital BBC 1 press the number one again on your remote and this will toggle between digital and analogue.

Connecting my tv to my laptop

I am using a hdmi cable between laptop port an television.
When i go to access that hdmi3 on source, A message comes up.
No Signal. ??
Check the cable connections and settings of your source device
or press source which sends you back to the menu. ??

What size of screws fit in the back of the TV ISO mount

I want to attach the TV to a cantilever wall mount, but need to make sure I have the correct bolts - I am not sure if the arm I want to use comes with the right screws so I want to get some before I try to fit it.

Hi,

We recommend using a USB HDD with at least 5,400 rpm, but a USB HDD of RAID type is not
supported. More than 2TB USB HDD is not supported.
