I READ THAT SOME TIMES THE SAMSUNG DONGLE GAVE PROBLEMS WITH CERTAIN INTERNET PROVIDERS SO I BOUGHT POWER ADAPTES .PERFECT AND EASY

I bought the ES5500 television a couple of weeks ago, and am most impressed. i also bought the Samsung dongle, model number WIS12ABGNX and it works perfectly.

I'm currently using a "Integral Neon USB flash drive - 8GB" it's plugged into the HDD USB port on the TV and works perfectly for recording.
It's best to buy one flash drive specifically to use with the TV and not to use with PC/Laptop etc as you'll have to format it all the time. So i recommend buy one and keep it plugged into the TV at all times.

Hi Jobar,
To pick up the analogue channels assuming they are tuned in press the number one on your remote. When your on digital BBC 1 press the number one again on your remote and this will toggle between digital and analogue.

Hi Notgotone,
The TV can only record onto a supported external USB device from its own in-built tuner. You cannot record from a feed to the TV from a set-top box. For further assistance in determining a USB storage device that is compatible with your TV, please contact our AV team on 0330 726 7864, press option 1 then option 4.

Cant record to USB drive
32" ES5500 TV wants to format usb 2 flash drives when I try to record. after it formats the drive it then says the drive is to slow to record to when the programe is due to start. I tried an hdd drive the tv still wants to format the drive I got to much stuff on the drive for that especially if it wont work afterwards. I tried to record to both a new and several previously used USB2 drives Which were previously formatted to fat32. Tried both usb ports and various sd channels.
Can anyone help please ?

How do I stop the TV asking for a PIN when I watch recorded programs?
I recorded a program which contains strong language (Never mind the buzzcocks) and the TV asks for a PIN to watch it. Parental control is switched off and the program is unlocked. How do I disable this?
