Question

Firmware issue

The current firmware for EH5300 is 1042.0 - on the 22nd Jan a firmware update became available on this support site but it is numbered 1036.0 ( which is a previous version number) therefore the TV set will not accept it - is there a correctly numbered version available?

Question

Digital Freeview channels

In the severe weather we have been having, i seem to lost some of the digital free view channels on my TV, i have tried retuning on several occasions but unfortunately I only seem to be able to get BBC 1, 2 ITV, Channel 4,5, ITV2 and E4. I have lost 5* as well as really and all channels between 16-27 and also channel 8, and then only got ITV plus 1 on 33 and channel 70, but nothing else. If anyone has any ideas as to how I can get the full digital free view channels back then please let me know?

Hi,

Please get in touch with Freeview to check the signal strength on your area. This may be why you are not receiving some channels.

how come netflix doesn't work

when i go onto the netflix app it says unble to load netflix, and when i go into tools>settings>about smart hub, it says netflix ESN not support. i have phone netflix and they have told me there is no ESN on the tv??

Question

The BBC IPlayer app has recently stopped working properly. Is there any way of completely resetting the BBC IPlayer app ?

IPlayer loads OK from the smarthub and will display the current programmes available on the FEATURED and MOST POPULAR pages and all other pages Except FAVOURITES which just shows the "Wait" Circle Icon.
However if any program is selected it Doesn't play and just displays the Wait Icon no matter how long I wait.
It was working fine after the last SmartHub Update. I have tried using Tools->Reinstall, and even Tools->Settings->Reset but neither of these have changed the IPlayer behaviour.

To change the picture size you need to press the P.Size button on your Samsung remote control.

Browser is crashing frequently saying due to lack of memory
