why am I not now getting my e-mails on my tab3?

I can still get them on my samsung galaxy s111 and I can still send e-mails from my tab 3, please help.This has only happened yesturday had tablet quite a few months.

It sounds as if your e-mail app on your Tab3 is not synced to your e-mail account. If you could tell us which app you are using we should be able to provide further instruction.

My galaxy tab 3 has suddenly started dropping its wifi connection.

My galaxy tab 3 has suddenly started dropping its wifi connection. This is on multiple access points many of which previously had no problems.
It seems that when the device scans for new servers it drops the current one.
Any ideas?

Hi.

I recommend performing a factory data reset on your Galaxy Tab 3. You can do this by following these steps:
Settings - Back up and reset - Factory data reset - Reset device - Erase everything.

Performing a factory data reset will erase all data from your device. I advise that you back up your data on Samsung KIES. Please see the link below to find all of the information and tutorials on Samsung KIES:

Question

Application install failure.

Some games etc. fail to install although they are stated suitable for Android system.There is plenty of available memory,both internal and SD card.Unit is upgraded to latest 4.4.2 operating system and other programmes work OK.I get a message saying it can not install to either internal or card.These apps are from Google play store if this is any help.
Any ideas gratefully received,

If the language you require is not pre-installed on to the device, please try searching for a third party application which will enable the preferred language. You can search through either Galaxy Apps or the Google Play Store.

If your charging cable detaches from the plug, then you are able to use this USB cable as a transfer cable too.

Poor battery life??

How long should the battery last during use (web surfing) on my Tab 3 8" - currently get no longer that 15-20 mins from a full charge. plus it take 5hrs+ recharge to 100%.

Battery charging

How do I access free wifi when it doesnt require a password?

When at Gambado soft play, they have free wifi but I galaxy tab can only go on Facebook and on the Google page. It cant receive emails or search the web. The manager says i need to register my name and email address but I dont know where to do this as the wifi doesnt require a password and says Im connected and I have no pop up notification. Please help.

Hi,

I would advise that you forget the network by going to, settings > network > tap on the network > press forget and then re-adding it. Once you have done this, click on your interent browser, there should be a notification that prompts you to put in an email address and password. Hope this helps.

Hi Craig.

I'd recommend performing a hardware test on the device. You do this by dialling *#0*#. This will bring up the hardware test menu, tap the touch option, this will bring up a screen to test the touch pad of the device.

If this doesn't solve the issue, you may need to perform a factory reset on the device. Ensuring you fully backup to Samsung Kies first.

Why isnt there full screen album art on the lockscreen?

On updating to KitKat the change log said there will be full screen album art on the lockscreen. this doesnt happen when music is play it just displays the controls.
