My tablet screen isnt working correctly.

My Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch (Black, Wi-Fi) tablet is hard to use as the touch screen isnt working correctly. Its difficult to select things, or apps launch that I havent tapped on. Is it broken and if so whats the fix?

Tablet will not charge properly

Im Having problems with the tablet charging, sometimes it charges very very slowly and other times ( most of the time) it doesnt charge at all.

Have you tried using a different charger? If this doesn't work you will need to take the device to be inspected by a Samsung engineer. You can find your nearest repair centre using the locator in the link below.

Hi,

Have you tried leaving your Galaxy tab 3 on charge overnight, I would advise to try this first? Does the LED light appear at the top of the screen whilst charging? If so, then you could try a soft reset. To do this, press and hold the Power button, the Home button and the Volume up button together for 10 seconds until the Android logo appears. This will prompt you to reset.

Galaxy Tab3 8 (SM-T310) The clock drifts - how can you fix this?

The clock drifts out and there does npt seem any way to fix it apart from resetting the time manually. Surely the device uses NTP ? The device is primarily used at home, so is always connected.

Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 Wi-Fi wont connect to internet?

My daughters Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 Wi-Fi (White) will no longer connect to the WiFi for longer than 2 seconds and then starts scanning again and wont reconnect. It will connect using my android hotspot but still cant use any internet. I have tried removing the last installed apps refitting both the tablet and the WiFi to no avail. It has McAfee installed since purchased. The tablet is now 9 months old and Ive never had a problem with this before. Can anyone please help it would be much appreciated xx

Hi,

Have you tried a factory reset to restore the Tablet? Please ensure to back up all important data http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/skp/faq/1034597.

If this does not work, have you tried contacting your internet provider? Sometimes, if there are a number of devices using the same wi-fi connection, they can interfere with each other. Your internet provider will be able to assist you with this.

It sounds as if your e-mail app on your Tab3 is not synced to your e-mail account. If you could tell us which app you are using we should be able to provide further instruction.

My galaxy tab 3 has suddenly started dropping its wifi connection.

My galaxy tab 3 has suddenly started dropping its wifi connection. This is on multiple access points many of which previously had no problems.
It seems that when the device scans for new servers it drops the current one.
Any ideas?

I recommend performing a factory data reset on your Galaxy Tab 3. You can do this by following these steps:
Settings - Back up and reset - Factory data reset - Reset device - Erase everything.

Performing a factory data reset will erase all data from your device. I advise that you back up your data on Samsung KIES. Please see the link below to find all of the information and tutorials on Samsung KIES:

Question

Application install failure.

Some games etc. fail to install although they are stated suitable for Android system.There is plenty of available memory,both internal and SD card.Unit is upgraded to latest 4.4.2 operating system and other programmes work OK.I get a message saying it can not install to either internal or card.These apps are from Google play store if this is any help.
Any ideas gratefully received,

If the language you require is not pre-installed on to the device, please try searching for a third party application which will enable the preferred language. You can search through either Galaxy Apps or the Google Play Store.

If your charging cable detaches from the plug, then you are able to use this USB cable as a transfer cable too.

Poor battery life??

How long should the battery last during use (web surfing) on my Tab 3 8" - currently get no longer that 15-20 mins from a full charge. plus it take 5hrs+ recharge to 100%.

After accepting KitKat upgrade I am now getting apps loading automatically that I dont want. Why is this happening and can I stop it?
