How do I stop my bluetooth device ie Galaxy Y from disconnecting?

My galaxy y keeps disconnecting from my Bluetooth hands free facility in my car Why. There are no time limits but connection never lasts longer than 1 hour.

KIES FAILING EVERY TIME

Cannot find BCM21553-Thunderbird anywhere on Samsung. Question, where the heck can I find it. KIES IS FAILING TO DOWNLOAD EVERY TIME have tried 4 times so far and each time KIES will not connect to my Galaxy Y time Samsung sorted this out.

There is no specific time limit however, I would advise that you charge the battery until it reaches 100%. Hope this helps.

Hi Mohammed,

You could try doing a hard reset. Remove and re-insert the battery.With the phone off, hold down the Volume Up, Menu and Power buttons at the same time for approximately 10 seconds. Release the buttons when you see the Android logo. This will access the unlock/reset menu. You can navigate through the unlock/reset menu using the volume buttons to scroll up and down and the power button to confirm selections. Scroll down and select Wipe Data/Factory Reset. When prompted scroll down and select Yes - Delete All User Data.The phone should reboot automatically. If it does not scroll to and select Reboot System Now. The phone will then reboot to its factory settings with the security lock removed. Please be aware that all of your personal settings including any changes you have made to your profile or wallpaper will be erased. Hope this helps.

Hi Squern,

Are there any error messages when you try to load Kies? Here is a link to show you how to download photos to your PC through Kies; http://skp.samsungcsportal.com/integrated/popup/FaqDetailPopup3.jsp?cdsite=uk&seq=937465. If this won't work, you could try using PC mass storage. Once connecting your device to your PC using the USB, a window will pop up saying PC mass storage. Click on this, and the you can drag and drop files from your phone to your PC. Hope this helps.

How to have update.list file to be rooted on Samsung Galaxy Y Gt- S5360

i saw some videos about that and i apply it on my phone but i really dont have that update.list file... Is it required before i can root my cellphone?
is it because the internet application always popping up on top of the screen any where i go...i hate it...T_T

Hi Chloe,

Please note you will only be able to carry out the below if you have previously set up a Google account on your device.

Once entering your passcode/ Pattern the maximum amount of times, you will receive a pop up message telling you to wait 30 seconds.

After 30 seconds you will see a 'Forgot pattern' option at the bottom of the screen. This option allows you to log in with your Google account on the device and reset your password or pattern, regaining access to your phone.

Should you have not set up a Google account, you will need to perform a Factory Reset on your phone.
