Hi.

Kindly note that not all applications can be saved on to your SD card. This is down to the application manufacturer. The option to transfer to SD card will be greyed out if the option is unavailable.

Hi,

From the home screen tap Apps > My Files > All Files > Device storage > Pictures > Select the Files > tap the Options icon > Move > SD Memory Card > Tap Move Here. Hope this helps.

My GT-S5830i mobile turns on and off all the time I cant do anything on it.

Hi.

I recommend trying a hard reset on your device. You can do this by following these steps:

- With the phone switched off, press and hold the Volume Up key and the Home key, then press and hold the Power key. At this point you should see the Android recovery screen.
- Scroll to Wipe Data/Factory Reset using the Volume Up or Down keys. Select with the power key.
- Scroll down to Yes, Delete User Data and select it.
- Back on the first screen, scroll down to Wipe Cache Partition and select it.
- Your factory reset is now complete.
- Go to Reboot System Now to restart the phone.

Hi.

You can remove your Samsung account by following these steps:

Settings > Accounts and sync > Samsung Account > Remove account

You can also reset your device by performing a hard reset. You do perform a hard reset by following the steps below:

- With the phone switched off, press and hold the Volume Up key and the Home key, then press and hold the Power key. At this point you should see the Android recovery screen.
- Scroll to Wipe Data/Factory Reset using the Volume Up or Down keys. Select with the power key.
- Scroll down to Yes, Delete User Data and select it.
- Back on the first screen, scroll down to Wipe Cache Partition and select it.
- Your factory reset is now complete.
- Go to Reboot System Now to restart the phone.

Why does my phone turns off after 6 mins?

When using my phone for internet ect, the unit turns off after around 6 mins. When I plug in to recharge the screen goes to 80% charged? Is this a fault with the battery? The phone is just over a year old.

Why wont my phone delete emails and trash

I can delete text messages but unable to delete any emails.
I keep getting icon telling me no space on phone, so deleted lots of texts .
When I go to emails I select the messages in the in box or the trash to delete, it tells me it has deleted them, finish with phone then when I go to use phone later my messages that I deleted are there again!!!

Hi Chrissy, Have you got the latest software? You can check this by; Selecting apps> Sliding the screen to the right> Press settings> About phone. Your software version should be 2.2 (Froyo). If this does not work try reseting your by; Selecting apps> Slide screen to the left> Settings> Privacy> Factory data reset> Reset phone> Erase everything. Hope this helps.

Hi, You could try: Pressing "Windows + R" buttons. This will bring up "Run" edit box. Type "fsquirt" in the edit box and press Enter key or click "Ok" button. This will launch Bluetooth File Transfer wizard and you can follow the instructions for receive file. You must first start Receive File on Win8.1 and then send file from your other device (phone) to make this work. Hope this helps.

The automatic back up option can be disabled by following these steps:

Open Samsung KIES > Select Basic Information > Scroll down to Options > deselect the box next to Automatic back up when USB connection is established.
