Hi Nuls,

There may be third party apps available on the Google Play Store that can provide the features you have described, however, as we must remain impartial we cannot recommend any app in particular to you.

You can visit the Google Play Store and search for new apps by visiting the following link:

Hi,

There is no inbuilt function within the device that allows numbers to be blocked from calling your device.

There may, however, be third party applications available from the Google Play store that will allow this.

Hi Gordon,

Yes, you can delete home screens on the Galaxy Ace.

To do this please go to any home screen then press the menu button at the bottom left hand side of your phone. Select 'Edit' and drag the home screens you wish to delete to the bottom of the screen to 'Remove' (the dustbin icon).

Question

How can I delete the apps that were supplied with the phone?

I keep getting told by my GT-35830 that I'm running out of internal storage, and messages get blocked because there's no more memory. I have a 4gig SD card installed, and in fact there are only 3 apps of my own choosing on it right now. But I'm forced to take Google + and Samsung Push, I can't upgrade to Hangout instead of Talk because it's too big, and this memory issue is driving me mad. I've tried using Edit on the apps screens to uninstall, but the ones that came with the phone seem to be locked in place. I have no use for Shazam, for example, or for AllShare, or Email (as opposed to Gmail), if I could get rid of them it would help enormously.

I would suggest moving all your images and music to your SD card to free up some internal memory on your phone and move apps to SD card where applicable.

Hi,

If there is not Wi-Fi you will need to use your mobile data.

You can switch this on by holding the lock button for a few seconds till you see the option Data Network Mode, and then switching it on.

Hi Nick,

This will depend on the Bluetooth profiles of your car kit as well as your Galaxy Ace. You may need to check with your car manufacturer to see if there is any firmware updates for your car kit. The car manufacturer should also have on the website which handsets they are compatible with.
