Hi, At the moment there is no Flash support for Galaxy Ace. However you can download the YouTube app if aiming to watch video content as a workaround. Unfortunately there is no Flash 'app' that can be downloaded to enable this feature.

Is Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) available for Samsung Galaxy Ace?

I would like to know if there is an official update to the Froyo OS that comes with the Samsung Ace. It seems that Froyo phones are having a hard time sharing data with Bluetooth devices on cars. I have a 2011 Kia Sportage EX and the Bluetooth can't download the contacts list from this phone. This was not an issue with my old Samsung Holic. I'd read over the internet that cellphones with the Froyo OS are experiencing this type of problem.

i am havin the same problem with my kia ceed 4, and i have updated my samsung ace to gingerbread, the latest available firmware, the phone needs to have PBAP to beable to use that function

Processor usage always 67%,

Hi All. In my mobile I have installed CPU usage widget to monitor CPU usage. Almost all the time it is showing 67% and varying up to 95%. And moreover their is no active applications running. I want to know what is the reason and I want solution to keep CPU usage less.

Hi, if your CPU levels are running high, the first thing to do is question the app for its reliability. Please uninstall then reinstall to check this. Failing this then you will need to speak to our mobile support team. They will be able to go through troubleshooting steps and if need be, create a service request. Either way we will be able to resolve your issue. They can be contacted on 03307267864 (ext 3 then 1).

Why can I receive a text normally but to reply to a text I have to turn my Wi-Fi on?

Bought the phone under a week ago, seems a really great phone despite the battery and the text issue..in order to send any type of text I need to turn my Wi-Fi on or else it will display 'Sending Failed' were as with other phones including my old phone (Samsung Monte) I would just type it out and hit send and its ok...and as it stands Yes I do have credit as well as free texts And signal.... so why Samsung is this happening?

Hi, due to the type of screen used, there must be physical contact for the screen to recognise that it has been pressed, so nails will not work.

Can the Sat Nav function WITHOUT assisted GPS?

It doesn't say that the Satellite Navigation can work independently of the phone's data transmission. I've just been sold one of these (by Three) - haven't got it yet - even though I specifically wanted a phone for SatNav that works by JUST GPS not A-GPS or internet like google maps/Nav

Do you have wi-fi turned on? If so turn it off in Settings - Wireless and networks -Wifi settings). This drains the battery daily if left on all the while on my Galaxy Ace. battery life will last 4 - 5 days if turned off. I only turn wifi on now when needed.

I also untick use Packet Data (Settings - Wireless and networks - Mobile networks) and only tick again if I want to use internet and have no wifi available.

i have got the same phone as u and the same thing happened to me to me like 3-5 times a day, when it happened i used to just take the battery out of the phone and put it back in, switch it on and it would work but i had to do this everytime it switched off. since i have done that my phone has not switched itself off once for the last 5 weeks. i hope that works.
