How do I delete a widget from my Galacy y Phone?

PLEASE NOTE; Than holding down the widget and dragging it to the "REMOVE" dustbin... Does not work! It may get rid of your widget on the home screen, but not from the phone.

whats wrong with my sons samsung galaxy y GT-S5360 as keeps restarting from start screen to samsung sign repeatedly.

Sons phone is less than a year old like brand new as he takes care of it. When the phone is switched on it starts up as normal then goes to the samsung sign then keeps just rebooting.

How do I use my Galaxy just as a PAYG phone?

Because of limited mobility I want to use my Galaxy Young only to phone and send messages using the touch screen, as I am PAYG how do I disable any features that use all my credit such as updates, browsers, android etc.

Hi,

If you go to Settings > Data Usage > Set Mobile Data > Untick Mobile Data, this will disable your mobile data so you will not be charged. I would advise contacting your network provider for further help as they will be able to advise you further on charges depending on your tariff.

Hi.

It is possible that the ‘SIM only’ folder is set to display. Please check this by going to Contacts > Press the Menu soft key > Contacts to display > Select which type of contacts you wish to display.

It may also help to store all of your contacts in one place. You can do this by using the Import/Export option on your Galaxy Y. To do this, please go to Contacts > Press the Menu soft key > Import/Export > Select preferred option. You can choose where to store contacts on the device, and also which contacts you wish to export if you choose to do so.

Hi,

The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 WiFi only plays files that are in the formats listed: H.263, H.264, MPEG4, WMV, DivX. If the video attachment is not in one of the above formats, then I'm afraid the tablet does not support this.

I have seen else where it says, Samsung Galaxy Y Duos? But I can't see it on Samsung's website. Is this the same phone? Can It take 2x SIM cards with dual standby?

Hi.

I recommend performing a factory data reset on your Galaxy Y. You can do this by following these steps:
Settings - Back up and reset - Factory data reset - Reset device - Erase everything.

Performing a factory data reset will erase all data from your device. I advise that you back up your data on Samsung KIES. Please see the link below to find all of the information and tutorials on Samsung KIES:

Hi.

This selection will differ from each email application. If you are using the email application that is pre-installed on to the device, simply press the select all option at the top of your inbox folder. This will place a tick next to each of your emails. After this selection has been made, select the delete button.

Alternatively, if you are using a third party email application, please contact them directly for specific information regarding the app features.

On your widgets, tap open Music > play the selected MP3 > whilst song is playing, tap the Menu key > Set as ringtone. Hope this helps.

To transfer contacts from your SIM card to your phone: Tap Phone > Contacts > press the Menu button > Settings > Import/Export > Import from SIM card. Hope this helps.

You should save your contacts to your phone so you can add it with picture... Saving your contacts in Sim will no longer be added a Picture!

Hi, Have you tried factory resetting your phone? You can do this by: Pressing and holding the power button for 8-10 seconds. Your device will then reboot automatically. Please note you will need to back up all data as this will erase all information on your phone and take it back to when you first purchased it. Hope this helps.

Phone not dialling

I highlight favourite number, press dial but nothing happens, I keep pressing, move the phone around, press a few more times and then it connects. Same happens when I try to text , the letters will not appear in the message box. The phone is three weeks old.

my phone got hanged and then i reboot system and its got jammed on that and says appling muti-csc-- then i downloaded samsung kies on my computer

then i downloaded samsung kies on my computer and attached a usb wire to this phone it keeps on displaying message that insert the disk that came with your cdc abstract control model (acm) when i purchased this phone there was no cd with the software included PLEASE REPLY (ASAP)
