PAY AS YOU GO

I have this phone on pay and go but it has used most of my £10 credit.I have switched off the wi fi etc but now i cant send texts?Has it continued to use the remainder of my credit? The Balance enquiry option says that it isnt available at the moment so i dont know what left to use. What do i need to do to be able to phone and make texts??

How do I sort my contacts into different groups?

I transferred my contacts from my old phone to my sim which is now in my new phone. I want to sort my contacts into groups with different ring tones and the manual gives little information and nothing on this.

Hi Maxi,

To add contacts to groups, you must firstly ensure that the contact is saved to your phone memory, then you can follow these instructions:
1.
2. From any Home screen, tap Contacts.
3. Scroll to and tap the contact you want to add.
4. Tap the Menu key.
5. Tap Edit.
6. Scroll to and tap Groups.
7. Scroll to and tap the desired group.
8. Tap Done.
9. Tap Save.

Hi,

It may be that your contacts are saved to your SIM card rather than your phone.

You can ensure that your contacts are all save to your phone by following the instructions provided on this link:

Once your contacts are save on your phone memory you will be able to add photos.

Hi Marian,

You can find your language settings by following these instructions:

Tap on your applications > Head in to your settings which looks like a cog icon > Scroll down until you find the option which has a small icon next to it that looks like a keyboard key with the letter ‘A’ on it > This is your language settings > The top option is ‘Select Language’ > In here you should be able to select English.

Hi,

Apps cannot be moved to the SD card, in order to free up some space on your phone we recommend deleting old messages or call logs as well as browser history.

Try saving images and other media files onto the SD card instead.

problem with switching on

hi,
my galaxy Y 5360 has been discharged and after recharging I cannot switch it on. it comes to samsung logo and remain there for always. i tried to connect it to pc but nothing appears during connection. holding home key and switching on also do nothing and it goes to samsung logo.
I would be grateful if you could kindly help me in this case.

Your Galaxy Y will need to be looked at by one of our Samsung Engineers, there is two options for this.

The first one is to take the phone to a Local Samsung Service Centre, find your nearest one by clicking the link below;

Unfortunately this model doesn’t have a front camera. The only way to take a 'selfie' would be to turn the camera around so the back camera lens is facing you and take a photo.
