my samsung galaxy tab 2 wifi does not switch on?

My WiFi is not turning on in settings....when I drag the button to the right to turn WiFi on it says turning on WiFi then the button moves to the left and does not turn on...I have reset tablet back to factory default and still not working...can you advise please

Hi there.

I am not completely sure, as it would be odd for both apps to have the same issue. However, my first suggestion would be to ensure both (all) apps are running the latest versions.

Help fixing my wifes TAB please

After an android update the my GT-P5110 has crashed and wont even start now. I just get the Samsung logo nothing else.
Has anyone got a fix please. Its not even big enough to use as a brick.

My Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 update bug?

Last night my Galaxy Tab 2 .10.1 (non 3G) did an update and now it gets stuck on the SAMSUNG logo, I left it 12 hours till this morning at 6am and it was still showing the logo. I held down the on/off button and it turned off but then automatically turned itself back on. and kept doing this. I also left it on charge overnight so it didnt flatten the battery with the continous pulsing SAMSUNG logo.

How to fix firmware issue?

Got notified a firmware upgrade was available for my Tab2 GT-P5110 yesterday, started the process and my table is now "bricked". It is constantly showing a black screen with "Samsung" in the middle. Any recommendations on what I can do to fix this?

Hi.

If you are connecting your device to the computer without Samsung Kies then please try these steps:

1. Remove all previously installed Samsung software or drivers.
2. Connect your device to the computer.
3. Allow the computer to detect the device and install the drivers.
I also recommend installing Samsung Kies on to you computer. This will also detect the device and store its data. Please see the link below to find all of the information and tutorials on Samsung KIES:

If the above steps haven’t rectified the problem try the process again, however using a different USB port on the computer. Also if possible, try the process with a new USB cable.

Why wont my tablet turn on or charge?

Yesterday my GT-P5110 tablet switched off and now will not turn on. I have tried plugging into the charger as I thought the battery may be flat however, there is no indication on the screen to show that the tablet is charging.
I have had no problems with my tablet previously. The tablet is 19 months old.

Hi Veronica,

You need to do a factory reset on the tablet. Try holding down the Volume Up, Menu and Power buttons at the same time for approximately 10 seconds. Release the buttons when you see the Android logo. This will access the unlock/reset menu. You can navigate through the unlock/reset menu using the volume buttons to scroll up and down and the power button to confirm selections. Scroll down and select Wipe Data/Factory Reset. When prompted scroll down and select Yes - Delete All User Data. The tablet should reboot automatically. If it does not scroll to and select Reboot System Now. Performing a reset will delete all your personal settings. Hope this helps.
