My Samsung GT-P5100 tablet would not power up after it got drained.

When plug the charger, it just show the battery icon that says it is charging but would not power up even if I press the power button long enough.

Samsung Hub issues

My galaxy tab 2 has samsung hub. When I open the app it says that the page I am looking for has eithet been removed or is down. It has been like this for over a week. Any ideas or can I just remove the app itself. I have already done a force stop and cleared the cache

Hi.

I recommend performing a factory data reset on your Galaxy Tab 2. You can do this by following these steps:
Settings → Back up and reset → Factory data reset → Reset device → Erase everything.

Performing a factory data reset will erase all data from your device. I advise that you back up your data on Samsung KIES. Please see the link below to find all of the information and tutorials on Samsung KIES:

This could either be an issue with the battery its self or the charger. I'd recommend taking the device to your local Samsung service centre to have the device looked at by one of our engineers. You can find your local service centre using the link below.

Why by inserting sim card into GT-P5100 the WiFi and GPS wont work?

After I insert sim card into my device (Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1/ GT-P5100) it doesnt recognize any wireless network around and its GPS doesnt work. I have tried many times by turning off the device and other ways but it still has the problem. Worse than that is that I have to "Reset to Factory Settings" to make everything work again.

I have a samsung galaxy tab 10.1 18 months old and the battery doesnt hold a charge. I think it needs a new battery is this possible?

Question

Is there a minimum mbps required to connect wi-fi?

I've tried to connect two Tab 2's to the same wi-fi network and can't get either to connect, but can get at least one of them to connect to a different wi-fi network. The mbps per second on the network that I can't connect to shows 56mpbs on the Tab 2 and gets the message 'Network not available. Can't connect to network.'. I've talked to Verizon and they're sending a replacement for one of the tablets, but I'm not sure that's going to correct the problem.

About the ability to open Word Docs on a Galaxy tablet.

I understand that the Galaxy has Polaris office .. which can create and amend documents. But I need to be sure it can open Word documents as well. ? and does it have the ability to store them .. ? Would they be stored in Polaris.. ? many thanks for any help. Richard

Yes this app allows you to open documents and edit them.

They will be saved on the Tab but opened in this app every time.

My 12-month old tablet will not turn on. I have tried all all the suggestions, holding various buttons for varying lengths of time.

It won't even let me do a factory reset. I either get an OS download offer or pictures of the battery charging, dependent upon whether or not the power cable is connected.

3G Connection on a Samsung Galaxy 10

I want to get a Samsung Galaxy 10 tablet , to use at home ,work and when travelling. At work our wireless connection is not reliable. Can you confirm there is a Galaxy Tablet with a 3 G connection and which model and where I can buy it ? Yes we have a Tab 2 10.1 3G version, you can find your local retailer by clicking the link below and selecting the ‘where to buy’ option;

In order for the 3G to work you will need a 3G SIM provided by any UK network provider.
