Question
A manual for first time users of the android system?
So many questions unanswered. Is there any help on the tablet? How to save links? How to find and use the camera? Will that cover break if I insert an sdhc micro card? Does it take 32G or 64G? I could go on, but you get the picture. I have a desk top PC running Windows XP and a Samsung netbook, two digital cameras, so can usually fathom it out for myself, but this thing bought last week has me foxed.

I had the same questions but have found out from the support people that, so long as you bought your device before the 30th of sept you can still claim, so you buy it today on the 19 of sept wait 30 days and submit your claim within the 15 day slot.
The promotion is a bit missleading because of the 30 day waiting but you still have 15 days to make your claim so long as you bought it before the promotion end date.
Be careful how you fill in the claim form as one mistake will invalidate your claim, a genuine promotion would have been a bit more forgiving.

30 days after purchase, go to www.samsung.com/uk/student - click claim cashback, show me more. You have 15 days to do this after the initial 30 days. This is what I was told today on the phone to Samsung.

Same for me I bought from currys and the sales guy said it was easy claiming it onsite. And now I see that the link is disabled and it says you can only claim it after 31st of August.
Also the promotion details says that it can't be submited no sooner than 30 days and no later than 45 days from the date of invoce. This would mean we have 15 days window between 30th of Aug an 15th of Sept to apply for claim. If you forget its gone. I would say that this is one kind of misselling.

Yes it does with google maps, you can also down load the maps to use off line, it is pretty impressive.
My one followed me even when inside a building my sat nav don't even do that, it showed my exact location on the map.

Google Maps now has an offline mode. Select the area that you'll be going in Google Maps and use the offline feature. It doesn't let you get directions but it does work showing the map and tracking position, I've done it today.

So far I have found out that the only way to connect the p3110 unfortunately is via the all share system, the fact that samsung doesn't have a cable connection for this device is a real let down, but let's hope they correct this soon.

Yes you can down load skype and make full use of it on the 3110 it works very well.
Try going to the app store rather than trying to down load it from the net the app works perfectly fine.

There is one you can down load to your tablet but I found it is better to have it on my pc where I saved a copy to my drive in order to access it whenever I want while trying things out on the tab, even though you can have more than one operation active you have to flip from one to the other which makes it a bit awkward trying things out on the tab hence the pc copy, makes it much clearer.

The instruction manual shortened virsion.
1/ in the application list select edit, which is in the top right hand corner.
2/ Tap and hold the application.
3/ To move the application hold and drag it to the destination ie folder or whatever.
It can be dragged just about anywhere you want but be careful not to uninstal it unless you want to of course.

yes, do a google search for it. It is not supported on the android store, so an old version of flash must be downloaded and used. It only works with Dolphin Browser HD.
