An update came on phone yesterday and now screen is stuck in screen saying "Samsung Galaxy note ii GT - N7100" when I try reset, screen goes blank then back to writing. Nothing is working at all.

Hi.

You will need to have the phone looked at by a Samsung engineer. I've attached a link where you can search for your nearest Samsung repair centre.

If there is no service centre local to you, i'd recommend contacting the Galaxy team on 0330 726 7864.

My Samsung Galaxy Note 2 GT-N7100 has developed a faulty screen. When the screen times out, it will not fire back up again.

The screen will not fire up after the screen has timed out. It also does this after a phone call have been answered. I have performed a hard reset on two occasions so it cannot be an Android problem. My phone is almost 2 years old.

Contacts missing from device list

Kies How do I get Contacts under, Connected Devices, and or under Library, in the left-hand column.
I have used Kies in the past too amend my Contacts, on my Samsung S4 mini and worked excellently but, since a Kies update all I get listed is Music, Photos and Videos. I need to amend Contacts, therefore I have to add somehow Contacts into the left-hand column under device, Library how, please help

Need technical support

Hi, Im having a problem with my Note 2. Been really slow for these last couple of weeks and 3 days ago it restarted on its own and got stuck on the boot screen, where is states the phone model. Left it like that for an overnight but nothing changed. Took off the battery and tried to restart it but ended up with a grey / white stripes on the screen for hours! After I played with it for a couple of hours I got a clear screen saying press up or down button and think I pressed up. Since then its saying downloading but been like this for more than 30hrs! Any idea how I can sort this out, please?

This is making no sence for danngling the 4.4.4 update and says it not the model.

I know and it fustrating more when the update is there but not supported by that model. Too me does not make sence, and is like a kid in s sweet shop or a bull in the glass shop.

others ways to hard reset

is there another option to run the shortcut is not recorvery vol up home and lock buttons? Unfortunately, after pressing the combination does not start recorvery window.
I have a problem the phone does not start, stop at flashing samsung log. I would like to do a hard reset. Please write the other way

Hi Mateusz,

Remove and re-insert the battery.
With the phone off, hold down the Volume Up, Menu and Power buttons at the same time for approximately 10 seconds.
Release the buttons when you see the Android logo. This will access the unlock/reset menu.
You can navigate through the unlock/reset menu using the volume buttons to scroll up and down and the power button to confirm selections. Scroll down and select Wipe Data/Factory Reset.
When prompted scroll down and select Yes - Delete All User Data.
The phone should reboot automatically. If it does not scroll to and select Reboot System Now.

If the unlock/reset menu does not appear, lease check out this link to find your nearest Samsung repair location http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/servicelocation/.

Hi.

I recommend performing a factory data reset on your Galaxy Note II. You can do this by following these steps:
Settings - Back up and reset - Factory data reset - Reset device - Erase everything.

Once you have performed the reset, try using the handwriting tool again. Please see page 47 of the user manual for guidance:

Performing a factory data reset will erase all data from your device. I advise that you back up your data on Samsung KIES. Please see the link below to find all of the information and tutorials on Samsung KIES:
