Hi.

I recommend performing a factory data reset on your Galaxy Note. You can do this by following these steps:
Settings - Back up and reset - Factory data reset - Reset device - Erase everything.

Performing a factory data reset will erase all data from your device. I advise that you back up your data on Samsung KIES. Please see the link below to find all of the information and tutorials on Samsung KIES:

http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/usefulsoftware/KIES/

If the factory data reset does not improve the performance of your device then I advise taking your Galaxy Note to your nearest service centre. Please visit the link below which will aid you in locating it:

http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/servicelocation/

I hope this helps.

Hi,

Is USB debugging switched on your device? Go To Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging and make sure this option is checked. Also you could try unplugging the USB deviceand then plugging is back into the PC. Have you tried downloading Kies? Kies connects your mobile phone to your PC, making it easier for you to synchronise data between devices. Please check out this link to download Kies http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/usefulsoftware/KIES/. Hope this helps.

Hi.

The Galaxy Note is the device that is most geared towards business use. I've attached the page from our website giving more information about the note.

http://www.samsung.com/uk/business/business-products/mobile-devices/galaxy-note/GT-N7000ZBAXEU

However, with its larger screen and multi screen functionality which allows you to write an email while looking at a document, i'd recommend the note 3. I've also attached the webpage showing you the features of the Note 3.

Question

MHL has stopped working

I now cannot view my phone on the TV through the HDMI - it flickered a couple of times and stopped working, I purchased another MHL (Correct one thinking it was that, tryed a new power lead and even a new HDMI lead and also tried it on another TV, yet there is still no joy.
My son tried his phone and it works a treat, I assume I may have something broken in the phone or I may need some software. Any ideas welcome.

You could try downloading Samsung Link https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sec.pcw to view media through your Samsung TV. However, it might be worth getting your phone serviced by an engineer to see if any damage has been done. Question

Why is my wifi not working?

The wifi on my GT-N7000 used to work perfectly, but one day it just turned itself off and cannot be switched on! The Wifi symbol in the notification panel is a dull green (not greyed-out as it would be when switched off, but also not bright green as it would be when switched on). When I try to turn wifi back on it says "Turning on..." then does nothing. I don't recall having had a system update or installing any new apps immediately before this problem occured. Restarting in safe mode made no difference, neither did removing the battery/sim/SD card.

Hi,

This sounds like it may be a firmware glitch on your Note, a way to trying to resolve this is by performing a factory data reset on your device.

Please backup your phone using Samsung KIES. Perform a factory reset by pressing Menu > settings > Accounts > Backup and reset > Factory data reset . When this is completed please connect your phone to Samsung KIES and restore your phone.

Thanks.

Hi Darren,

The IMEI number within the phone settings should match the IMEI number behind the battery on the back of your phone.

This will not change granted you do not route or unlock the phone to other networks.

If you are worried about your phone you can have it looked at by a Samsung engineer, there are two options for this;

Firstly you can take it to a local service centre, find your nearest one by clicking on the link below;

http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/l...

Or you can arrange for it to be posted to use by calling our Galaxy Team on 0330 726 7864.

Thanks.
