Hello my galaxy note 8 keeps over heating, freezing and turning itself off so I have reset it. But I now seem to be stuck in factory mode. How can I change it back to user mode?

my battery life is on average 1.5th anyone else had this?

I can turn on my device and it will be on 100% yet within minutes of logging into something the battery is down 10-15%. Its getting to the point I dont want to use it because its not lasting long enough

The Galaxy Note 8.0 Wi-Fi tablet does not have the functionality to be used as a phone. However, the Galaxy Note 8.0 4G & Wi-Fi does have this feature. Please see the link below which shows the similarities and differences between the two models.

Why wont my note 8 hold a charge and why does it turn itself on and off randomly as it pleases

My galaxy Note 8 wont hold a charge, I can charge it for hours unplug it and then try and use it a few hours later and its dead. It also switches itself on and off randomly as it pleases, any advise?

I recommend performing a factory data reset on your Galaxy Note 8.0. You can do this by following these steps:
Settings - Back up and reset - Factory data reset - Reset device - Erase everything.

Performing a factory data reset will erase all data from your device. I advise that you back up your data on Samsung KIES. Please see the link below to find all of the information and tutorials on Samsung KIES:

Why is idea sketch crasing?

I have Galaxy note 8.0 and I really like S note and use it on daily bases. At first everything worked fine, now the idea sketch started crashing. When I try to add idea sketch the screen goes black, then a notification "the idea sketch has closed" pops. Any idea how to fix this?

Hi Pandash,

Have you tried to factory reset your Note 8? To do this;
1. From the Home screen tap the Applications menu item.
2. Tap the Settings menu item.
3. Scroll down to Privacy and then Tap it.
4. Tap the Factory data reset menu item.
5. Tap the Reset phone button.
6. Tap the Erase everything button.
Please ensure to back up your Note 8 before doing a factory reset as this will wipe it back to factory settings. Hope this helps.

Do you mean the Micro SD adapter? The micro SD card will fit in a slot in your tab. The adapter has a slot for the Micro SD card which then inserts into your laptop or PC.

Have you tried downloading another video player on your tablet? If so, you could try doing a factory reset. You can reset the settings on your device by going to Settings > Backup and reset> Factory data reset. Please note you will lose all applications and saved data, so ensure that you back up your device prior to performing the reset. Hope this helps.

Question

Kitkat has left me with a brick?

I received notification re the install of the kitkat system yesterday. It seemed to go okay, said it needed to reboot and then it never turned on. We have tried everything including hard reseet, reset button, holding power key etc etc. It has now been left in with a repair company, who though expperts are having difficulty themselves getting it started. The tablet was in excellent condition prior to this official update, unfortunately now out of its guarantee period. But surely as this was an approved official update, there should be some kind of comeback. I love my note 8, but am now feeling very very frustrated and worried about the potential cost or repair, if in fact it can be repaired! So any advice as to the way forward would be appreciated.

s notes will not back up in Samsung link

I have a galaxy note 8 I have just bought a new laptop hoping to back up my s notes via Samsung link (which I believe has replaced Kies)but so far to no avail. There is a auto back up feature in note 8 which says it is backing up but to what?
Please help as I now have a lot of work related info in s notes that I do not want to lose.
