Hi.

I recommend performing a factory data reset on your Galaxy S4. You can do this by following these steps:
Settings - Back up and reset - Factory data reset - Reset device - Erase everything.

Performing a factory data reset will erase all data from your device. I advise that you back up your data on Samsung KIES. Please see the link below to find all of the information and tutorials on Samsung KIES:

Sending Emoji Smileys

Hi there,

Whenever I send an emoji smiley from my Samsung Galaxy S4 it converts the message into a multi media message and then my service provider charges me. I have friends with other phones where it doesnt convert the message and they can send it for free as a standard SMS.

I was just wondering if there was a way to still send the Emoji icons that are built into Android 4.4 as standard SMS messages so I dont get charged for them?

Sound problem - I can call a number but they cannot hear me and I cannot hear them.

sound icon is on, it is not on flight mode, and volume is on maximum.I can listen to TV on the phone with picture and sound. I dont use head phone. It was working till today morning.

Hi,

Have you tried rebooting the device? To do this, remove the battery from the back of the device for 20 seconds and then replace the battery. Hope this helps.

Hi Dawn, I'm afraid there is no option to stop this. However, you can enable a notification that prompts you of when a text message changes into a multimedia message. Go to Messaging > press Menu > Settings > MMS Alert. Hope this helps.

Why is move to SD not working properly

After moving an app to SD Card it is no longer available after the latest update. Apps already moved still work perfectly well, however if an app is updated and installed to SD it becomes greyed out and not no longer works. If the same app is installed to phone memory it works perfectly. When after this working period the app is moved to SD Card it no longer works. Therefore the problem lies with the latest update not allowing write to SD Card function.
Also writing to SD Card for items like photos or videos via the camera app, the images and videos become corrupt x and not playable or viewable.

stop annoying beep when no notification is there.

S4 makes random notification tones every few mins. Occasionly will go away but if I turn my fone off it comes back. Have deleted yahoo mail app so I know its not that. Any Suggestions?

Hi.

You can modify your Galaxy S4 to make sounds when a notification comes through. If you wish to turn this to silent then you can do so by following these steps:

Settings - My device - Sound - Default notifications - Silent.

You can also adjust other sounds and vibrations on your Galaxy S4 in this section.
