Question

How do I get rid of request for password to misspelled email address?

When I set up my Galaxy S3 I miss-typed my Gmail address but did not notice. Now I continually get asked for a password for the misspelled address so I can access my Samsung Account (not set up due to this mistake). I cannot use the password reset as any messages for reset go to the misspelled email address that I cannot access. How can I get rid of this request? Since upgrading the firmware to android 4.3 the requests have become even more insistent

how can i read and print a text message conversation on my pc from my phone?

The phone is damaged - but the usb connection to the pc still works fine and I can back up data from the phone to the pc, but I dont know how to transfer and view the sms conversations - any help much appreciated.

Is it possible to have the recent android update removed?

Since the update Ive had many issues with RAM usage on my phone, and apps now crash almost constantly.

Ive tried factory resetting, Ive uninstalled almost everything that I can but to no avail.

I also have problems with setting default apps for messaging etc, they seem to be un-defaulted on an almost daily basis.

Its very irritating, to the point that Im considering paying off the rest of my contract to buy a different phone.

Note: my friend has the LTE version with more RAM and does not experience the same problem.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to reverse software updates.

If you continue to experience these problems please take your device to your local Samsung service centre to be re-flashed.

emails deleting

When I delete an email on my phone I want the option of deleting just from my handset or permanently from the email account. Currently it deletes automatically and permanently from my email account. How do I set this up.

Also, I can only view emails sent/received on the phone handset....how do I view all my emails?

If your phone will not switch on at all it is not possible to perform a factory reset.

Hi Louby,

You can set up master sync on your device by using two fingers to drag down your navigation panel from the top to the bottom of your screen and ensureing 'Sync' is in green.

Why is my mains charger charging at 100mA?

When my phone is plugged into the mains charger it can be on all night and only partly charge. I downloaded an app that shows the charge amps and realised that charging via the mains charger only charges at 100mA. If I use a USB cable from my laptop, I get 460mA.
