Please backup your phone using Samsung KIES. Perform a factory reset by pressing Menu > settings > Accounts > Backup and reset > Factory data reset . When this is completed please connect your phone to Samsung KIES and restore your phone.

Hi,

This would completely depend on what service you are using to backup your media. If you are using Samsung KIES you can deselect photos from the check boxes available.

Phone will not connect to PC

When i try to connect my phone to my pc with a usb cable it says that; the usb device is not reconsidered.I have tried uninstalling the drivers but this hasn't worked and the driver status; is Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43).

Hi,

Uninstall KIES, Reinstall KIES, Disconnect PC from internet and connect your phone and wait for intallation to complete. You can then connect your phone to the internet again and your phone should connect OK.

backing up data

my phone is broken (dropped) and will only turn on via usb but the screen is just a mass of lines. I'm getting a new one through insurance and want to retrieve the data can this be done? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Question

How can I get my phone to charge?

I've had my S3 for 18 months, and it has already had it's charger changed and batery replaced, as it's not been charging correctly for the last 10 months. It's got to the point where it can be plugged in for 9 hours and only charge 7%, it's also not keeping it's charge, so even when not being used, that 7% dies in the space on 3 minutes. What can I do?

Ruter or Wi-Fi Problem?

Hi, I'm having problems with my Galaxy S3 GT-19300. It tells me that the Wi-Fi is on, its connected to my ruter and the connection keeps dropping and rising however things such as Play Store, YouTube, Google etc wont work simply for the fact somethings wrong. Is it the Wi-Fi or my Ruter? I only got the phone for my birthday yesterday and I'm already getting angry because I cant download or watch anything without the video or the downloading stopping then I need to switch the Wi-Fi off and on for it to hopefully continue. (I'm on O2 the phone has a tariff and has 15 pound credit if that helps)

It is not possible to download to your S3 from iTunes as iTunes is Apple proprietory software.

GT-i9300 asks for keyboard info on reboot

Suddenly a few days ago I noticed the keyboard icon in the top left of my screen each morning when I turned my phone on. Every day It asks the same question. I select the Samsung Keyboard but there is no 'Save' or 'OK' button once I have selected so the problem persists.

Hi Ken,

I would suggest backing your phone up to your PC using Samsung KIES and performing a factory reset on your phone followed by using KIES to restore your backup. Please ensure all your media is backed up to external SD.

Hi,

You can see a list of our embedded lauguages by pressing menu > Settings > Lanaguages and Input > Languages. If the language you require is not available you can download a 3rd party app from the Google Play Store to achieve this.

my otg cable will not connect to my phone

My phone will still charge and will also connect to my pc without a problem but my otg cable will not be recognized by my phone anymore. I have purchased three more cables without success and have also tested the cables on friends phones also galaxy s3 and the cables work fine.
