The zoom on my s3 phone camera as stopped working does anyone know why this would be?

Apparently the camera is in the "wrong mode for zoom" i have tried changing the mode but nothing.

emails deleting

When I delete an email on my phone I want the option of deleting just from my handset or permanently from the email account. Currently it deletes automatically and permanently from my email account. How do I set this up.

Also, I can only view emails sent/received on the phone handset....how do I view all my emails?

If your phone will not switch on at all it is not possible to perform a factory reset.

Hi Louby,

You can set up master sync on your device by using two fingers to drag down your navigation panel from the top to the bottom of your screen and ensureing 'Sync' is in green.

Why is my mains charger charging at 100mA?

When my phone is plugged into the mains charger it can be on all night and only partly charge. I downloaded an app that shows the charge amps and realised that charging via the mains charger only charges at 100mA. If I use a USB cable from my laptop, I get 460mA.

Question

Galaxy S3 Start-up Failure

My phone has started to turn itself off, and then get stuck in a start-up loop that only takes it as far as the first screen 'Galaxy SIII GT-I9300' before going blank again. Even when I take the battery out and replace it, it gets stuck in the same loop of the first screen and then going blank. I have managed to get it to fully restart in Safe mode, but even then it turned itself off again.

Question

how to improve task speed

I have had my S3 for approximately 6 months now and I find that the phone is incredibly slow both pre and post 4.3 upgrade. It can take up to 30 seconds to locate and dial a number from phone locked to dial. Despite my initial concerns the phone is very good, i just find this laggy response very frustrating. I have tried the temporary fixes - clean up apps and have tried the clean cache method plus factory reset but there is no obvious improvement. To me the phone has always been relatively slow - any suggestions?

I have bought 1 samsung galaxy s3 and 2 s3minis for my family back home in ghana.

I bought these phones on sim free deal but the phones are specifically built for the EU market and not Africa:However Sansung said I have to make 5 minutes calls on each phone in the the EU or in the UK in order to unlock the phones.My question is does it have to be the very first call or any order subsequent calls for 5 minutes. Thank you

Hi,

We recommend you first activate these phones with UK SIM cards and ensure that the first 5 minutes of inbound and outbound calls are made in the UK to other UK SIM cards. This will ensure the regional lock is lifted.

Please note that as these phones were purchased in the EU they will not be covered by a manufacturer's warranty in Ghana.
