Cant recover websites from bookmarks

I have a page of Bookmarks of web sites that I infrequently use but to which I still want quick access.
every time I try to open one the phone reverts back to the Google search page.
When I try to add another bookmark, the same happens.
When I try to delete a bookmark, the same happens.
Then, when I return to my homepage screen, all the background has turned black, the wallpaper has disappeared and it takes about 30 secs for it to return to normal.

How to execute Make bug report at Developer optons

Galaxy S3/ v4.3
I want to send my bug report to someone from my cellphone, so I chose Include bug reports in... at Developer options after that, when I chose Make bug report for bug report capture, my S3 was rebooting automatically.

3G not working

I have WCDMA/GPS selected but no G appears on top of phone and when I try to use it away from nWi-Fi it says No Signal.
Is this a hardware fault - I only bought it on 8th May 2014!

Have you tired turning on your mobile data? Go to; Settings > Data Usage > Mobile Data. If so, please contact your network provider for more information on mobile data as this may be dependant on your tariff. Hope this helps.

I cant tether my phone to windows xp

I have a galaxy S3 phone that I want to tether to my windows xp machine that doesnt have internet access. The pc sees it as an Android camera but cannot find the driver. I have tried installing Kies but it wont install without internet access

Hi, Connection of the S3 can be done over Wi-Fi, over Bluetooth or by physical connection using a USB cable. To do this, go to apps >Settings > More Settings > tap Tethering and Portable Hotspot. Tap the USB option to tether your S3 to your machine.
1. Connect your phone to your computer using the USB cable that came with your device.
2. Click the Start button on your computer
3. Click on My Computer.
4. Double click on your Samsung device. Hope this helps.

Hi,

Is the firmware on your S3 up to date? If so, you could try deleting the app by; Going to Settings > Applications > Mannage applications > Tap application > Uninstall. Then, you need to go back to the play store and reinstall the app. If you need any further assistance with this application, please contact the provider.

How do I move Apps to SD Card?

Unable to send Apps to SD card in Applications Manager - There is no "Send to SD card" button displayed - only Uninstall, Clear Data etc. My S III recognises SD card and it has plenty of space. How do I get the Application Manager to allow me to transfer Apps to SD card? Thanks!

I'm afraid some applications cannot be moved to an SD card. For such apps the Move to SD card option will be unavailable. Hope this helps.

My can I stop my Samsung S3 from Freezing?

I have had my samsung for a year and a half now and recently it has begun to freeze the screen. The only way to remedy this is to manually pull the battery from the back. On booting the phone back up it looses between 10-20 percent of the battery charge. It seems to be happening more frequently and can happen 2 to 3 times a day.

The other day my phone popped up with a message which said security update failed

it started flashing and turned off. at first it kept freezing, and now it will turn off and to turn it back on i have to plug it into a charger and it says the battery is flat... even if i have just charged my phone, it can happen straight away. if i dont use the phone it is fine, but as soon as i start using it, it turns off.

How do I type ŷ in texts

Before I did a recent (couple of months ago) update I was able to type the letter ŷ on text by holding y down and choosing the correct option. Since the update I cant type ŷ at all. Please can someone help me with this. Its quite an important letter in welsh and features in my sons name, so I use it frequently.

Hi, Have you tried resetting your device? You can do this by; Selecting Apps> Settings> Backup and reset> Factory data reset> Reset phone. This will delete everything on your phone and restore it back to factory settings. You will need to backup all your files. Hope this helps.

Why the battery drain in Flight mode?

Please can you explain why/what in the device uses so much power when in Flight mode (& screen off) that drains the battery?

Even with a new battery it loses 5% of its power overnight.

I thought that Flight mode closed everything down and made the device hibernate... but apparently not.

Hi,

Whilst in flight mode, you can still be connected to wifi therefore, it can still drain the battery. I would advise that you turn off wifi before turning on flight mode. There are also third party power saving apps available on the play store that can manage your devices power to enhance your battery life.
