My Battery wont charge even the new battery I bought

I have turned off and removed applications just in case there was a battery drain issue but I cannot narrow down the problem as to why my battery wont charge or charge effectively. Any ideas? tips? please as this would be helpful

Hi.

The volume button can be used to adjust the text display shown on the screen. To revert this back to normal, go to a text message and press the volume down button on the left hand side of your handset.

I need to connect my phone to a JVC KW V30BT car Audio system with MHL. I have the lead for this but a video on YouTube says I need a 5 to 11 pin MHL Mini USB Adaptor. I have purchased one but it is not compatible with this model number.
Is there one available and where can I buy it?

Hi Andy,

Do you have an email account set up on your device? If so, once entering the passcode/ pattern for the maximum amount of times, you will receive a pop up message telling your to wait 30 seconds.

After 30 seconds, 'forgot patter' will appear at the bottom of the screen. This options will allow you to log in with your email account.

Should you not have set up an email, you will need to perform a factory reset. With the phone off, hold down the Volume Up, Menu and Power buttons at the same time for approximately 10 seconds.
Release the buttons when you see the Android logo. This will access the unlock/reset menu.

I have bluetoothed images from my ultrabook on my Samsung S3 android, it has sent them to the Gallery app on the phone and installed them as individual albums for each picture and it wont allow me to delete them. These pictures now have a little coloured circle at the bottom of the pic I guess this symbol means u cant delete from the app. How do I delete????

Hi.

It is possible that multiple folders for contacts may be set to display. Please check this by going to Contacts > Press the Menu soft key > Contacts to display > Select which type of contacts you wish to display.

It may also help to store all of your contacts in one place. You can do this by using the Import/Export option on your Galaxy S3. To do this, please go to Contacts > Press the Menu soft key > Import/Export > Select preferred option. You can choose where to store contacts on the device, and also which contacts you wish to export if you choose to do so.

Why does my S3 GT-I9300 all of a sudden freeze within 5 seconds of turning it on? And how can I fix this?

I woke up one morning (phone working fine the night before) and it was frozen, so I restarted it and it froze again within 5 seconds of restarting. This has happened umpteen times for the past 3 days. The most important thing is I want to retrieve my photos. I went to the Samsung store to get it repaired but was told by a saleswoman that it couldnt be fixed ??? I ended up buying a new S3 mini, so I now have a working phone, but I wanted to get my phone repaired and she said that wouldnt be possible????????!!!! I still have no access to my photos - well in 5 seconds I can get to them but it doesnt give me enough time to back them up or transfer them to an SD card. Do you have any advice? I know there must be a way of getting my photos and I would appreciate a technician helping me.

I recommend performing a factory data reset on your Galaxy S3. You can do this by following these steps:
Settings - Back up and reset - Factory data reset - Reset device - Erase everything.

Performing a factory data reset will erase all data from your device. I advise that you back up your data on Samsung KIES. Please see the link below to find all of the information and tutorials on Samsung KIES:

Is there a fix for screen errors/glitches

I have been noticing my Gs3 has been running a bit slower than usual and so I did a fresh install (hard reset) but I jave noticed since that the phone has not improved by much and has developed a fault when on the home screen and swipe between panels the opaque box that surround the apps turns into a different colour (or looks like when you smash the lcd screen and get aload of messy colors) but when you let go its fine and returns to the original opacity. I know it sounds petty but is this going to manifest into a full break down or is there a fix I dont want to do another hard reset if possible. Thanks

There's currently no release date for KitKat on the S3. Keep an eye on our website, Samsung Kies, and the software update option in the device settings of your device for updates.
