Questions & Answers for samsung Galaxy Nexus

Question

Does the Galaxy Nexus (GT-I9250) have a MicroSD slot to expand the memory?

Whether to go for the 16GB or 32GB version of this phone will depend upon the ability to expand the memory with a microSD card. If this is not an option, this may be a deal breaker and I'll look for a different phone!

That's pretty much as I thought (although there was some conflicting information out there for a while). Not having a microSD slot is a big disappointment and means I will not be getting this phone after all. I shall keep using my Nexus One and await the next Nexus phone.

Yes there is an extended battery, which I currently employ. Additionally, it barely makes a dent in the phone shape and size. I am using a normal case that fits perfectly.

Yes it has the same capability as my old desire and yours. I.e the ability to create a wifi hotspot using 3G. Go to settings, in "wireless and networks" select "more".Select "Tethering and portable hotspot" and you can select the "configure" option to configure your hotspot the same as you would on your desire. Then select the option to switch on your hotspot and you should get a hotspot icon showing on your notification bar.

Simply press the power/screen lock button at the same time as the volume down button. Hold for a second or so and the screen image will be captured to your media gallery under a new folder for screen captures. You'll need to press both at the same time which can be tricky otherwise you'll just lock the screen or change the volume but with a bit of practice you'll capture screen shots with no issues.

Question

Can you play pop out online flash games/ chat rooms?

Trying to buy a phone for someone with an obsession with the online role playing game www.habbo.com which apparently doesn't work on any mobile device to date because you log in and then the game uses a lot of flash to load so that one can enter the hotel. not sure about this, but because of the amount of money this phone is retailing for I thought it possibly has a better chance than most of actually being able to do this! please could someone let me know!!!!

That depends on your carrier. Through Verizon in the states it is not pre-installed with a radio app. However, there are plenty of free radio apps in the Google Play Store (previously Android Market). I like iHeart Radio, and Pandora but there are several to choose from that will actually receive straight FM stations.
