Question
How can I get wi-fi working again?
I did a system update on my Galaxy S2 and other than it getting rid of my personalised home screens and giving me several new games that I didn't want, it made me unable to connect to my wi-fi connection. I had no problem before the update but now the status ranges from "obtaining IP address" to "authenticating" and then sometimes saying "avoided poor connection", yet it works fine on my laptop. I can also connect with no problems at work and at other people's houses, just not at home. I want to be able to manually add my connection information such as IP address, DNS and Gateway, etc, but I can't find a way to do this.
Also, when trying to play the "Draw Something" game, if connected to 3G then it works fine, but as soon as I try to connect to wi-fi and then enter the game, it just closes itself and refuses to work. I then have to remove and re-download the game.
Please help!

I had hoped I wouldn't have to reset the phone, but I guess I'll have to. How would I back up all of the data on there?
Thanks for your reply.

Sorry to hear that you are having issues connecting to your home wifi with this device. We would suggest that you back up all data and perform a reset on the device, which will hopefully resolve this issue. Settings>Privacy>Factory data reset.
Hope this works for you, keep us posted.
