Tethering requires a network security key. What is it ?

Hi.

I recommend performing a factory data reset on your Galaxy S3 Mini. You can do this by following these steps:
Settings → Back up and reset → Factory data reset → Reset device → Erase everything.

Performing a factory data reset will erase all data from your device. I advise that you back up your data on Samsung KIES. Please see the link below to find all of the information and tutorials on Samsung KIES:

Hi John,

Please refer to your email provider to find out their server settings. Once you have the server settings, you need to set them up manually, as follows.
1. From the Home screen tap the Applications button.
2. Tap Email.
3. Tap the Email Account menu item.
4. Tap the Menu button.
5. Tap Add account.
6. Enter your Email address and Password and then tap the Manual setup button. Hope this helps.

Yes. The S3 mini can be rotated landscape for texting, As long as the "screen rotation" icon is highlighted in the drag down menu.

Sudden onset of battery drainage on S3 mini

I have had my S3 mini for approx a year now and it has been great but over the last couple of weeks the battery has been draining really quickly, no matter what I do. I have power saving mode enabled and have done nothing different than before that Im aware of. Phone only gets charges when it needs it. I close all running apps using the active applications list. This morning it was at 100% at 8am & by 11.30am was at 12% when previously it lasted all day. Is this common and why has it happened? My phone tells me the battery is in good working order. Clearly it isnt!

My S3 mini wont stay on, it keeps restarting?

Ive had my phone for nearly a year and it has recently started turning itself off but for it to continuously restart again and again. The only way to turn it back on is to charge it but its now starting to have the restart loop even when on charge. Its getting ridiculous now as I can hardly use the phone. Any help, please?

Whenever I try to make a call, I cant hear anything. If a attach headphones or use the speaker, it works, but without, I hear nothing. What can I do?

There is no ring tone, nothing. The other person can hear me, but I cannot hear the tone nor when they pick up and start talking until I put some headphones in or turn on the speaker.

1. From the Home screen tap Apps
2. Tap My files.
3. Tap All files.
4. Now select Device storage.
5. Now locate the file that you wish to move, for example, in Pictures.
6. Now tap on the files you wish to move to select them.
7. You can also select all files in the directory by pressing the menu button (bottom left button) and tapping Select all.
8. Once you have selected the files, tap the options icon (top right corner).
9. Tap Move.
10. Now tap SD memory card (this may have been renamed at your discretion).

How do I synchronise with a custom (i.e. not Google or Exchange) server?

I have a calendar and contacts list on my own web-site and Id like to use it on my SIII Mini. There is an option to add a "Server" account but there are no instructions on how to use it, either in the manual or on-line. So how can I use this function?
