which types of MicroSD card are safe to use?

The user manual says "Some memory cards may not be fully compatible with the device. Using an incompatible card may damage the device or the memory card, or corrupt the data stored in it." But the manual, or the Samsung website, provide no information on which types of card are safe. Can you please state clearly which types of MicroSD cards are recommended, which type should be avoided, and hopefully which type are fastest/optimal. Thanks.

You should be able to download an adobe pdf version from your phone models page on the Samsung site.

Not sure if this will work, try.

The frequencies used in the USA and UK are different and the frequency of your phone may not be available in the UK for 3G.

How do I delete the history of texts sent or received?

Hello, I own a S3 Mini - when I delete the SMS messages, it still leaves a complete list of all the people who I have sent to or received texts from, even though the message has been deleted. This list is growing daily. I have deleted the logs which deletes my contact history but not my SMS history. Some of these people are in my contacts but others are just mobile numbers. I want to keep this information private. Please someone tell me how to do this on a S3 mini.

To delete message threads, open the Messaging appliction > Press 'Menu' (bottom left button) > Delete threads > Tick the threads you wish to delete > Press 'Delete' on the top right hand corner.

You will need to purchase the Samsung Allcast dongle or alternatively you can purchase the Samsung MHL adaptor which will mirror your SIII to your HDTV.

Hi ofirmessing,

To move Apps to an SD card, please go to Settings > Applications manager > Press the app > Move to SD card. Please note that some applications do not support this whereby you will not be able to move them to your SD card. This is by design by the application developer and is not something Samsung have control over.
